Last night I was having the hardest time falling asleep as my head was spinning with thoughts of what is the point of this blog, what should I talk about, have I found my voice yet? When I finally fell asleep, I dreamt that my teeth were all cracked and about to fall out. From what I know about dream interpretations, losing teeth is a sign of lack of confidence and processing information, fitting right? Add the full moon energy to the mix and we have a recipe for a restless night full of crazy dreams. So I did what every modern day spiritual gansta does, I cleansed my crystals, got out my tarot cards and meditated.
We find clarity in such unique ways, sometimes through our dreams, other times through meditation and even through a psychic reading. I know, I know psychic are not a popular topic to bring up at dinner parties as it often cues eye rolling and disbelief. But three years ago before the start of my spiritual transformation I found myself in a serious rough patch after a bad break up. I was questioning the point of it all, what was my purpose and what lesson was I supposed to be learning here? That is when I felt drawn to call a psychic. This one-hour phone call was not a “here is what the future holds” conversation, instead it was the perfect mix of connecting to your higher self and your spirit guides sprinkled with the best therapy session I have ever had! It was in this conversation that I was told that I was going to be a writer. Me, a writer?! I had to laugh, as I am someone who often forgets words half way through a sentence and commonly uses the wrong words or just makes them up. It was about a year after this reading that I started finding my voice through writing. I started with free form journaling, which I use in my coaching sessions and now I am dedicating 31 days to writing! Maybe my psychic was able to see the future!
My dream & tarot card for today guided me towards clarity. Which is to keep writing even when I don’t want to, even if no one is reading, even if it keeps me up at night.
What keeps you up at night?
